Welcome to the William C. Duven Golf Tournament! This year's tournament will benefit Colorado Springs Teen Court, a local nonprofit initiative operating under the Forge Evolution umbrella of pillar programs.
The Teen Court Program has operated successfully for 27 years and helped over 9,000 teens and pre-teens avoid having the stigma of a criminal charge and conviction following them around in life as a young adult and future leader.
Bill Duven was an unwavering volunteer and supporter of Colorado Springs Teen Court for 20 years. He gave not only his time, but also his legal expertise to working with Teen Court student attorneys and certainly inspired several of the student volunteers to pursue careers in practicing law. Despite his very busy schedule, Bill always made time for Teen Court. His energetic, lively spirit resonated with every kid that he interacted with. He brightened everyone's day with his sense of humor.
This tournament's proceeds will go towards helping ensure the same type of multi-system involved youth Bill helped are able to move past a mistake they made and grow into the leaders of tomorrow, and that our teen volunteers are able to create a lasting impact and legacy in our Colorado Springs community.
